Article 1933
Obligations of Lender and Rights of Borrower
(1)
The provisions of the Chapter on “Sale” regarding the obligations of the seller shall apply to the lender.
#(2)
If the loan is made gratuitously, the lender shall only warrant such defects of the thing as are known to him.
#(3)
If the lender fails to perform his obligation to lend, the borrower only has the right to claim damages.
