Article 2118
Definition
(1)
A loan for use, or free loan, is a contract whereby one party, the lender, undertakes to transfer a movable to the other party, the borrower, for temporary gratuitous use.
#(2)
The provisions of this Chapter shall apply mutatis mutandis where the use or possession of an immovable is given to another free of charge.
