Article 503
Relationship by Adoption
(1)
Bonds of consanguinity and affinity may be created by a contract of adoption, in accordance with the provisions of this Book on adoption.
#(2)
Subject to the provisions of Article 504, an adopted child shall for all purposes be deemed to be a child of the adopter.
