Article 130

Every summons served under this Chapter shall be served as nearly as may be in the same manner as a summons to a defendant. The provisions of the previous Chapter as to proof of service shall apply, notwithstanding the provisions of this Code on witness evidence.

The summons shall state the date, time and place of the examination, the facts in respect of which evidence is to be provided and the consequences of non-appearance. Any particular document to be produced by the witness shall be described in the summons with reasonable accuracy.

The interested party shall summon the witness a sufficient time before the time specified in the summons for the attendance of the witness, to allow a reasonable time for preparation and for travelling to the place at which his attendance is required.
