Article 295
Principle
(1)
The parties may, by a compromise agreement relating to all or some of the matters in issue, terminate a dispute with respect to which a suit has been instituted.
#(2)
Without prejudice to the provisions of this Title, the provisions of the Civil Code shall apply to compromise agreements, in particular as regards the effect of, appeal from and invalidation of such agreements.
