Article 349
When Receiver May be Appointed
confer upon the receiver all such powers, as to bringing or defending suits and for the realization, management, protection, preservation and improvement of the property, the collection of the rents and profits thereof, the application and disposal of such rents and profits, and the execution of documents as the owner himself has, or such of those powers as the court deems appropriate.
#Where an application is made for an order under sub-Article (1), the court shall have regard to the amount of the debt claimed by the applicant, to the amount which may possibly be obtained by the receiver and to the probable costs of his appointment and may before making the appointment, direct such inquiries on these or other matters to be made as it deems appropriate.
