Article 32
When Arrest by Police Officer without Warrant Allowed
A police officer may arrest without a warrant any person whom he has reasonable grounds to believe:
#is committing a breach of the peace as provided in Penal Code Articles 184 (Escape), 185 (Aggravated Escape), 192 (Participation in Unlawful Assembly), 196 (Disturbance of Religious or Ethnic Feelings), 197 (Violations of Corpses and Funeral Rites), 198 (Disturbance of Meetings), 200 (Disorderly Conduct) and an assault in which the assailant:
#threatens to cause serious bodily injury to a person other than the person assaulted and who is dependant or under the protection of the first;
#assaults a police officer acting in the execution of his duties, or anyone assisting a police officer so acting, knowing that the person assaulted or the person being assisted is a police officer; or
#is obstructing a law enforcement officer in the lawful execution of his duties, or who has escaped or is attempting to escape from lawful custody;
