Article 59

Every police investigation shall be conducted as promptly as possible.

As soon as an investigation is completed, the investigating police officer shall forward to the prosecutor a report stating:

the name and other identifying information of the accused;

the criminal offence alleged to have been committed;

the name or other identifying information of any victims of the crime;

the information about the crime collected during the investigation as well as the names and other identifying information of all persons who appear to be acquainted with the circumstances of the case; and

the means by which all of the evidence has been collected and the whereabouts of that evidence.
