Article 7
Right to an Interpreter
(1)
An interpreter shall be provided at any stage of a criminal investigation or proceeding, to any accused or witness who needs such assistance.
#(2)
When a Court finds that an interpreter is required for the purpose of any proceeding, the Court shall select a qualified Court interpreter. When a duly qualified interpreter is not available, the Court shall select a competent interpreter, but no person shall be selected who is himself a witness, a relative of the accused or other party to the proceeding, or in any other way is not neutral or disinterested in the proceedings.
