Article 210
Electoral Corruption
A person who corruptly:
#(a)
directly or through an intermediary offers, grants or promises another person gifts or any advantage in return for refraining from voting, or for his voting in a particular manner, in any public election; or
#(b)
accepts a grant or promise of gifts or any other advantage in return for refraining from voting, or for voting in a particular manner, in any public election,
#is guilty of electoral corruption, a Class 9 serious offence, punishable with a definite term of imprisonment of not less than 1 year and not more than 3 years.
