Article 307
Rape
(1)
A person who commits a sexual assault against another person by any act that involves the penetration of the body of the person assaulted,
#is guilty of rape, a Class 6 serious offence, punishable with a definite term of imprisonment of not less than 7 years and not more than 10 years.
#(2)
Rape between spouses is punishable only where the spouses are not living together in the same household under circumstances which do not show a mutual agreement or understanding between the spouses not to live together in the same household temporarily.
