Loss of work. - 1. Before Publication
(1)
Where, after its delivery to the publisher, the work is accidentally lost or destroyed before publication, the publisher shall pay the author his remuneration.

In other cases, he shall do the work again, against reasonable compensation, if this can be easily done and the publisher so requests.
