Article 2491
Regulation of Contract of Pledge
(1)
The rules governing contracts of pledge are to be found, in addition to this Chapter, in the special laws relating to particular cases and forms of pledging or to the institutions authorized to lend against security.

The special rules governing the committal of goods in warehouses are given above in the Chapter on warehousing.
