Interpretation
(2)
Renunciation by one party of all his rights, actions and claims shall only extinguish those rights, actions and claims in respect of which the settlement has been reached.
#(3)
Where a person who has made a compromise settlement on a right which he held in his own name subsequently acquires a similar right in the name of another person, the settlement shall not bind the newly-acquired right.
