Article 188
Requirement for proof
(1)
Unless otherwise stipulated by law, the court shall base its decision solely on facts that have been proved or otherwise established in accordance with this Title.
#(2)
Agreements which depart from the statutory law of evidence shall not apply if they relate to the proof of facts to which the law attaches consequences that are not at the party’s disposal.
