Article 21

a fair and impartial trial cannot be held in the Court scheduled to conduct the trial;

it will be of convenience to the defendant, to the prosecution, or to the witnesses in the case to have the case tried in a different location and that the parties jointly consent to such a move;

a question of law of unusual difficulty is likely to arise; or

the ends of justice otherwise require the removal of the case.

In a case of unusual circumstances, the Supreme Court may decide a motion for a change of venue made in relation to a case within the jurisdiction of the High Court.

The provisions of this Article shall not apply to cases being heard in the Community Courts.
