Article 335
Temporary Taking of Property for Use without Consent
(1)
A person who, without the consent of the owner, temporarily takes property belonging to another, with the intention of using another’s property for a period of time; or
#(2)
A person who, without the consent of the owner, takes a motor vehicle, vessel, or other mechanized property used for transportation, with intent to drive, use, navigate or operate it or cause it to be driven, used, navigated or operated,
#is guilty of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle or vessel, a Class 3 petty offence, punishable with a definite term of imprisonment of not more than 1 month, or a fine of 500 – 5,000 Nakfas, to be set in intervals of 500 Nakfas.
