Whosoever has erected a building on land which is held by another without the landholder objecting to the building shall be the owner of such building.

The landholder may evict the builder against payment of compensation the amount of which shall be fixed by agreement between the parties or, failing agreement, inaccordance with the provisions of Article 10,19. The builder may at any time take the building down at his own expense and clear the land.
The provisions of this Article shall not apply unless the landholder was aware of the building and failed to object thereto.
