If the corpse of a person is found outside a dwelling place, the person who found the corpse is obligated to declare the death.

If the identity of the deceased person is unknown, a detailed statement shall be drawn up indicating the day on which and the place where the corpse has been found, the apparent age and the sex of the dead person, and the probable date of the death.
The record of death shall contain a reference to such statement.
