Whosoever has paid the whole obligation although he is ultimately bound to bear only a part thereof shall recover from those liable with him.

For the purpose of such recovery he shall be subrogated to the victim’s claim.
The Court may in its judgment subrogate the person sentenced to the victim’s possible claims against other persons liable for the injury.
