If the successful bidder fails to pay the price, the auctioneer may, in addition to the ordinary remedies of a seller, resell the property by auction.

The bidder who failed to pay may not bid at a subsequent auction of the property.
He shall be liable for the difference between the price at which the thing was sold to him and the resale price, if lesser, but is not entitled to claim any excess amount.
