Where a person becoming the holder of right of use of the immovable intends to terminate the lease, such right having been reserved in his favor, he shall give notice to the farmer-tenant within three months from the acquisition made by him.

The lease shall terminate on the first day of March which follows but not less than three months from the day when such notice has been given.
Any stipulation or custom to the contrary shall be of no effect.
