The heirs of the guardian shall, without delay, inform of the guardian’s death the person who is by virtue of Article 194 to replace the guardian in such function.

In default of such person they shall apply to the Court to appoint a new guardian.
Until they have fulfilled their obligation under sub-Articles (1) and (2) they shall remain liable to the minor and third parties.
