An employer shall pay wages to the employee or his legal representative on the day and at place agreed upon by the parties or on the habitual day and at the habitual place of payment.

If the payment date falls on a Sunday or a public holiday, payment shall be effected on the preceding working day. If payment is not effected on the due date, the wages shall be paid no later than the following working day.
