An employer may require an employee to work overtime, but may not require more than two hours of overtime on any one day.

An employee is required to work overtime in the following situations:
during an accident, actual or threatened;
where the work is urgent;
where force majeure occurs; or
where the employee is a substitute for an absent employee assigned to work which is continuous.
