Where an employer or employee terminates the contract on a ground permitted by this Chapter, he shall give notice of the termination to the other party.

Except as provided in sub-Article (3), the employer shall inform the employee in writing, where the latter so requests, of the reason for terminating the contract.
Where the contract of employment relates to confidential matters which require special qualifications, the employer need not reveal the reasons for which he has terminated the contract.
