The convocation of the family council shall be accompanied by an order of the day, showing the matters on which a decision and a vote of the council are required.

The first family council which meets after the death of the surviving father or mother of the minor, shall examine in a general manner the condition of the minor and take in accordance with the provisions of the following Articles such measures falling within its jurisdiction as it thinks fit.
