Where the hypothecated immovable is attached by the creditors of the grantor, the hypothecary creditor may demand to be paid, out of the proceeds of the sale of the immovable, in priority to any other creditor.

Where the immovable has been sold by the grantor, the hypothecary creditor may attach it in the hands of the purchaser whose rights have been registered subsequently to the registration of the hypothec.
The hypothecary creditor shall in addition have all the rights of an ordinary creditor.
