The debtor may redeem an annuity set up in perpetuity notwithstanding any provision to the contrary.

The parties may however agree that the redemption shall not take place before the death of the annuitant or the expiration of a period not to exceed ten years.
They may also agree that the redemption shall only take place after notice of one year given to the annuitant.
If longer periods of time have been agreed, the maximum periods provided in sub-Article (2) and (3) shall be substituted therefor.
