The testator may order that, in default of a legatee by universal or singular title, some other person shall be called to receive the legacy.

Unless otherwise expressly provided, a disposition to that effect shall benefit the substituted legatee whenever the legatee appointed in the first place cannot or does not want to receive the legacy made in his favor.
