make a search to find out whether the deceased has left a will, and establish on whom the succession devolves and inform heirs and legatees of their position; and
administer the succession; and
pay the debts of the succession which are exigible; and
pay the legacies ordered by the deceased and take all other measures necessary to execute the will.
