If a witness lives too far away the court may transfer the examination to an equivalent court in the witness’s place of residence.

If a witness is prevented from appearing in court as a result of sickness or some other sufficient reason, the court or a delegated judge of the court in session may travel to such person in order to take his deposition or, in case sub-Article (1) is applicable as well, transfer the examination to an equivalent court in the witness’s place of residence.
