Regional Courts shall have jurisdiction to try Class 8 and Class 9 Serious Offences and Petty Offences.
Community Courts shall have jurisdiction to try Petty Offences that may fall within their jurisdiction by other laws.
If a person is charged with multiple offences of different degrees of seriousness, the Court with jurisdiction of the most serious charge shall have jurisdiction to try all of the charges.
The Minister of Justice may from time to time by law amend jurisdiction of Courts in criminal matters.
