When during the course of an investigation a police officer has reasonable grounds to believe that a suspect has committed an arrestable offence, he may arrest him.

When during the course of the investigation the police officer has reasonable grounds to believe that a suspect has committed a non-arrestable offence, he may apply to a Court for a warrant for the arrest of the suspect in accordance with the provisions of Article 30.
