Where, from the circumstances under which the offence was committed and the character and background of the offender, the Court finds that a juvenile offender convicted of any offence does not require criminal punishment to deter him from the commission of further offences or to aid in his reformation, a Court may impose one or more of the measures contained in Article 101.

Where a Court treats a juvenile offender under the provisions of sub-Article (1), the provisions of Article 101(3) shall apply.
