is guilty of contempt of court, a Class 2 petty offence, punishable with a definite term of imprisonment of not less than 1 month and not more than 6 months, or a fine of 5,001 – 20,000 Nakfas, to be set in intervals of 1,000 Nakfas.
Where the offence is not committed in open court, the punishment shall, except in more serious cases, be as a Class 3 petty offence, punishable with a definite term of imprisonment of not more than 1 month, or a fine of 1, - 1,000 Nakfas.
In flagrant cases of threats or disturbing the Court, the Court may deal with the offence summarily.
