A person who being under oath or affirmation, intentionally gives false testimony, conceals the truth or provides misleading information before a Court or other agency authorized to administer oaths to witnesses or experts, is guilty of perjury, a Class 8 serious offence, punishable with a definite term of imprisonment of not less than 3 years and not more than 5 years.
