is guilty of blackmail, a Class 9 serious offence, punishable with a definite term of imprisonment of not less than 1 year and not more than 3 years.
For purposes of this Article, threat means a threat of force to the victim or another, or a threat of detrimental or unpleasant action such as to publish, or divulge a fact, even where true, the knowledge of which is damaging to the victim or to a relative.
