Article 688
Abrogation of Obligation of Support by the Court
(1)
The Court may, upon application by the liable person, wholly or partially abrogate the obligation of support on the ground that the creditor has, through his own fault, brought himself into a position of need, if he has grossly neglected his own obligation of support toward the debtor, or if he has deliberately perpetrated a serious wrong against debtor or a close relative of that debtor.
#(2)
Sub-Article (1) does not apply with respect to the obligation of support between parents and their children.
