Article 717
State of Children, Born In or Out of Wedlock or Adopted
(1)
The fact that the deceased or the heir was born in or out of wedlock shall not affect the ascertainment of the heirs or the value of the portion of each of them.
#(2)
Without prejudice to the provisions of Article 503 (2) of this Code, adopted children shall be assimilated to the other children.
