Article 118

The summons is served in person on a body corporate:

by leaving it with the secretary or with any director or other principal officer of the body corporate; or

by leaving it or sending it by post addressed to the body corporate at its registered office or, if there is no registered office, at the place where the body corporate carries out its activities.

The summons is served in person on a partnership where partners are being sued in the name of their firm by leaving it with:

any one or more of the partners, or

any person who, at the time of the service, has the control or management of the partnership business at its principal place of business.

In case of a partnership that has been dissolved to the knowledge of the plaintiff before the institution of the suit, the summons shall be served by leaving it with the liquidator’s office or his habitual residence.
