Article 161

The court shall reject any statement of claim submitted under the preceding Article where:

it does not disclose any cause of action; or

the suit appears from the particulars in the statement of claim to be outside the jurisdiction of the court.

A claim for recovery shall be rejected where the plaintiff fails to produce the securities required by the Civil Code.

On rejecting a statement of claim under this Article, the court shall record its order, setting forth the reasons for such rejection.
