Article 245
Causing a Catastrophe
A person who intentionally causes a catastrophe by explosion, fire, flood, landslide, collapse of a building, release of poison gas, radioactive material or other harmful or destructive force or substance, or by any other means of causing widespread injury or damage, is guilty of causing a catastrophe, a Class 2 serious offence, punishable with life imprisonment, or, in cases of exceptional gravity, with death, or with a definite term of imprisonment of not less than 19 years and not more than 23 years.
