Article 1468
Right to Full Performance
(1)
If two or more debtors are solidarily liable, the creditor has against each of them the right to full performance.
#(2)
Performance by one of the debtors also releases his codebtors with respect to the creditor. The same applies where the obligation is extinguished by giving in payment or set-off.
