Article 1588
Attachment
(1)
The performance by the debtor of his obligations shall be secured by all his assets, with the exception of those which cannot be seized and sold according to law.

The rules relating to attachment, and in particular to the attachment of claims vested in the debtor, are contained in the Code of Civil Procedure.
