Article 2360
Liability for Death or Personal Injury. - 1. General
(1)
The hotelkeeper shall be liable for the loss or damage resulting from the death of, or any personal injuries to, a guest caused by an event occurring on the premises of the hotel or in any other place under the supervision of the hotelkeeper.
#(2)
However, he shall not be liable where he proves that the loss or damage was due to a cause beyond his control which he could not reasonably be expected to resist or avoid.
