Article 2370
Non-Liability
(1)
The hotelkeeper shall not be liable if he can prove that the loss or damage to property was due to the fault of the guest himself, or persons who have visited or accompany him or are employed by him.
#(2)
He shall also be released from liability where the loss or damage was due to the nature of or a defect in the thing or to force majeure.
