Article 387
Remand to Court Below
(1)
When it appears to the Appellate Court that in order to reach a just determination of the merits of the case it is necessary to determine any issue or question of fact which had not previously been determined by the court below, the Appellate Court may refer the case to the lower court to determine such issues or facts, and may direct such court to take any additional evidence required.

The lower court shall proceed to try such issues and questions and shall return the case to the Appellate Court together with a record of the evidence heard, its findings, and the reasoning in support of the findings, which shall then form part of the record in the suit.
