Article 110

Plea of Accused

(1)

After the charge has been read and explained to the accused, the Court shall ask the accused whether he pleads guilty or not guilty.

(2)

Where there is more than one charge, the Court shall read and explain each charge and shall record the plea of the accused in respect of each charge separately.

(3)

The plea of the accused shall be recorded as nearly as possible in the words of the accused
