Article 1048
Right of Holder
(1)
A holder of a land which is crossed or bordered by running water may use such water for irrigating the land he holds.
#(2)
Such right may not be exercised to the detriment of those who, on the land or downstream, use such water for their personal use, for that of the persons living with them and for watering their cattle.
